Further DE also absorbs the protective oils and moisture from the exoskeleton of these parasites. As a result, it dehydrates them, leading to their death by desiccation (drying out). Further other active ingredients like Neem, Sandalwood, rosemary & cinnamon are natural insecticidal and pest repellent properties aids in the overall management of pest on the dogs coat.

In general, you may start to see a reduction in tick and flea activity on your dog within a few hours to a few days after applying the Psyvam Anti-tick & flea powder. The time it takes to work can vary depending on several factors:
- Degree of Infestation: If your dog has a severe infestation of ticks and fleas, it may take longer. More pests may require multiple applications.
- Application Method: Dusting it evenly on your dog's coat and ensuring it reaches the pests can make a difference. Be thorough in your application.
- Environmental Factors: The powder works more quickly in a dry environment as it relies on dehydrating pests. In humid conditions, it may take longer to achieve the desired effect.
- Regular Application: To maintain its effectiveness, the powder may need to be reapplied regularly, especially if your dog is exposed to areas with a high risk of re-infestation.
If the problem persists or worsens, consult your veterinarian for guidance on effective and safe pest control options.
